Original Digital Art
A grid of brightly primary-coloured lines, with sections of unit circles traveling around and throughout the pattern, pulling the grid as they go.
A generated image of a grand hall, reminiscent of gothic place of worship, with a polished floor leads to a brightly lit orange stream.
Mr. Kay's art is based on the complicated repeating patterns of fractal equations. Utilizing a branch of mathematics originally discovered by observing nature, fractals render into gorgeously geometric designs typified by recurring shapes that exist within every scale of the image. These fractals are then bend, twisted, reflected, scaled, coloured, and otherwise manipulated to produce the stunning diversity found across the portfolio.
